GeoSapient monitors advances and investments in satellite remote sensing technology to deliver new methane alerting and consultative services supporting the onshore energy and waste management industries with operational surveillance of fugitive methane emissions. GeoSapient leverages data, data retrieval software, and data processing software from public sources for near-real-time methane plume detection.

As a subscription-based service, areas of enhanced methane concentrations identified in the imagery will be categorized as low, medium, or high-confidence plumes and reported to subscribers. Reports provided include email, SMS, or via a GIS API.
